Péter Medgyasszay was born in 1971 in Budapest. After his graduation as architect as well as MBA at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) he worked as the executive director of the Independent Ecological Center. He established an internet based Hungarian database on environment-conscious building technologies.
Since 1998 he has been working in his own architect’s office, specialized on environment-conscious design. One of his projects was selected as a case study from Hungary for the Exhibition of Sustainable Architecture organized by Architect Council of Europe in 2010. After taking his PhD degree he has been teaching at the BME.
Since 2012 he has been associate professor at the Department of Architectural Engineering. He is member of different national and international professional associations.
