Christian Weinhapl, born in 1962 (married, two children) studied at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. He has been working for the Wienerberger group since 1991, and as of 2001 Managing Director for Marketing & Sales of the Austrian entity. Since 2010 he is Managing Director for Wienerberger Ziegelindustrie GmbH (Austria / main product group: hollow brick) with the overall responsibility for 7 plants and app. 230 employees.
